Description: Jared Sonnenklar: Jared has been sailing for many years along side his father, Jay Sonnenklar. Since the age of 13, Jared has been sailing competitively in South Florida, participating in numerous Steeplechases, Keys 100's, and Miami-Key Largo races. In 2006, Jared competed in his first Tybee 500 with Jamie Livingston, the youngest competitor in Tybee history at age 17. Now attending The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., Jared sails on his breaks and trains periodically with many renowned sailors in the area.
