Due to the length of the final leg (over 100 miles) between Fernandina, Florida and Tybee Island, Georgia combined with concern over possible light wind, the decision has been made to move the start time from 10:00 am to 8:00 am for the Saturday leg.

The teams were polled about the change of schedule and there was a consensus that the extra hours of daylight would be beneficial.
