Dueling through the surf it was anyones race to win until the very end with Royal Yellow taking line honors with a finish at 4:21:21 pm very closely followed by Velocity One at 4:21:24 pm . Wow! 88 miles and more than six hours of racing and the first two boats finish 3 seconds apart! This is an extremely fast time considering they had to make a large detour around Cape Canaveral on the way up the coast.
